Meet Briar & Bleu
Briar & Bleu is the evolution of a beloved Lowcountry brand with a legacy spanning more than 16 years. Originally founded by Linda Burton as Hilton Head Hair and Makeup, the company became one of the region's most trusted names in bridal beauty, known for exceptional artistry, professionalism, and a seamless client experience.
In 2026, ownership of Hilton Head Hair and Makeup was passed to Bridgett Steel, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. While honoring the legacy Linda created, Bridgett recognized an opportunity to build upon that foundation with a fresh vision for the future. Rather than continuing under the original name, she thoughtfully merged the company into her newly established brand, Briar & Bleu, reimagining the business to reflect its growth, expanded offerings, and evolving reach.
This rebrand was not simply a change in ownership. It was the transformation of Hilton Head Hair and Makeup into something even greater. Under Bridgett's leadership, Briar & Bleu has expanded beyond its original roots, bringing together a hand-selected collective of artists who are not only exceptionally talented, but chosen for their professionalism, warmth, and ability to create a calm, elevated experience for every client.
Drawing from her background at Walt Disney World, where exceptional guest experience and attention to detail are paramount, Bridgett has infused the brand with a refined approach that prioritizes both artistry and service. 02 RESERVE
A customized proposal detailing your collection will be thoughtfully prepared and delivered. Once you're ready to move forward, simply sign your agreement and submit your retainer to officially reserve your wedding date.
03 PREVIEW
Once officially booked, we begin designing your personalized experience. You'll receive a detailed questionnaire so we can thoughtfully curate your vision, along with scheduling your bridal preview to refine every detail before your wedding day.
04 CELEBRATE
Your wedding day has arrived. Settle into the moment while our team creates a calm, polished beauty experience from beginning to end. Relax, soak in every memory, and step into your celebration feeling effortlessly beautiful and fully cared for.

With additional artist support and extended on-site time, this experience allows for a relaxed, unhurried pace across each event, ensuring every member of the party receives dedicated attention while the bride remains fully supported throughout. Each look is tailored to feel cohesive yet individually refined, resulting in a beautifully polished, elevated aesthetic that carries effortlessly from the rehearsal dinner through the wedding day and every moment in between.

Every booking includes one hair stylist and one makeup artist at no additional charge. Additional artists and travel may be added as needed to best accommodate your timeline and party size.
Available Enhancements
Lashes Only — $20
Touch-Ups — $135 per hour
Early Start (before 7am) — $75 per hour
Additional Artist — $135 per artist (all bookings include 1 hair stylist and 1 makeup artist free of charge)
Travel Fees - 30 mile radius included in all pricing, $1.25 additional outside of range
